I am reiterating, but had to comment. The focus of the piece is very intriguing; the guy in the reflection is acknowledging the phone, but why? The phone itself is powerful, especially since the mirror image of the guy makes it so. Is the phone ringing and he's just a passerby who hears it ringing? Is he planning to use the phone? We all have cell phones these days and have forgotten the power of the public phone. I felt the urgency of the public phone when I saw this piece. I dig it.
This truly deserves a DD. The composition is excellent, the angle is compelling and the colors are muted but still grab your attention. I love how the brush strokes are more prevalent in the background-- makes the phone itself look more real. This is really awesome; great job and congrats on the DD.
This is amazing. The reflections are awesome and I love how it's curved to attract the viewers eye. The only thing about this piece that bothers me are the colors. They seem a bit faded, especially on the phone itself. Otherwise... this is a great piece.
